It's not the first time the "Tour De France" ventures in foreign countries, but usually it's one or the other France continental neighbour.

Between Great Britain and France, there's a bit of water, The Channel, not that much water but still.

It would be really great, if instead of flying the cyclists to the continent the organisers install flotation devices on the bicycles, so the cyclists can pedals on the Channel.
That would be huge fun to watch and would spice up next year Tour.
